Christian Pearson, also known as SUMO, is a Luxembourg-based urban artist whose journey began in the mid-90s, establishing him as a pioneer in Luxembourg's graffiti scene. Since 1999, SUMO has been synonymous with his iconic 'Crazy Baldhead' character, adorning walls and various surfaces with his bold and distinctive imagery. SUMO has evolved his craft, exploring diverse mediums including canvas, digital art, murals, and installations. His dynamic and versatile approach to urban art has earned him collaborations with esteemed brands such as Luxair and Porsche. In 2018, SUMO expanded his artistic footprint with the launch of Gallery 1:1—a unique space serving as both his art studio and a showroom. Here, SUMO not only showcases his own work but also provides a platform for fellow urban artists to exhibit their creations.
